# Learnt docs

Learnt is a white-label training platform for subject matter experts who sell training to organizations. You build your course once, and every client organization's learners take it on your branded training site, at `yourname.learnt.tech` or your own domain. Learnt's name isn't on any page your learners see, and with your own domain it isn't in the address either. Emails go out in your name, and replies come to the support email you set; the sending address is ours (hello@learnt.tech).

These docs are written for you and for any AI agent helping you. Every page also has a plain markdown version: add `.md` to the address, e.g. [learnt.tech/docs/quick-start.md](https://learnt.tech/docs/quick-start.md).

## Pages

- [Quick start](https://learnt.tech/docs/quick-start): from signup to a link you can send your first customer, in four steps.
- [Course content](https://learnt.tech/docs/course-content): modules, PDF import, video, quizzes, Draft and Published.
- [Branding and domains](https://learnt.tech/docs/branding-and-domains): logo, color, name, support email, your web address and your own domain.
- [Learners and client organizations](https://learnt.tech/docs/learners-and-organizations): invitations, roster files, client organizations, access end dates and limits.
- [Progress and certificates](https://learnt.tech/docs/progress-and-certificates): who finished, CSV export per organization, certificates and verification.
- [API](https://learnt.tech/docs/api): build and run a workspace from your own tools and AI agents.
- [Connect an AI app](https://learnt.tech/docs/mcp): use Learnt from Claude or Claude Code through its MCP server (both tested). Other AI apps that accept a custom header, such as Cursor and VS Code, use the same setup, but Learnt hasn't tested them.
- [Agent skill](https://learnt.tech/docs/agent-skill): teach Claude Code or another AI agent to run your workspace.
- [Errors](https://learnt.tech/docs/errors): what each error code means and how to fix it.
- [Security and procurement](https://learnt.tech/docs/procurement): who runs Learnt, support times, providers, security, DPA, your data when you leave, and limits.

## How Learnt is set up

- **Workspace:** your account. One workspace holds one course, your branding, your learners and your billing. More than one course per workspace is planned.
- **Price:** $99/month per workspace after a 14-day free trial with no card. Founding price: the first 50 customers keep $99 a month for 5 years from signup while continuously subscribed; it ends if you cancel. After those 5 years, and for everyone else, a price change comes with 60 days' notice and applies at your next renewal.
- **Course Editor:** where you build the course and manage everything, at [app.learnt.tech](https://app.learnt.tech/login).
- **Client organizations:** the companies, associations or teams you sell to. Each one's learners are grouped so you can see and export that organization's progress.
- **Learners:** people you invite. They sign in with a one-click email link, so they have no password to remember.
- **Your training site:** where learners sign in, at `yourname.learnt.tech` or your own domain.

## For AI agents

An agent can build and run almost everything in a workspace through the [Learnt API](https://learnt.tech/docs/api.md) with a key the workspace owner creates in the Course Editor (Developer access). The OpenAPI description is at [learnt.tech/docs/openapi.json](https://learnt.tech/docs/openapi.json).

An agent can't sign up, pay, create the API key or connect a custom domain: a person does those in the Course Editor. Pictures can't be uploaded over MCP; use the Course Editor or the skill's helper.

Also:

- The MCP server is at `https://learnt.tech/mcp` (Streamable HTTP, same API key as a Bearer header). Setup: [Connect an AI app](https://learnt.tech/docs/mcp.md).
- The [Learnt skill](https://learnt.tech/docs/agent-skill.md) (an Agent Skills `SKILL.md` folder) holds the build order, the rules and a small helper. Download: [learnt-workspace.zip](https://learnt.tech/docs/skill/learnt-workspace.zip).
- The [quick start](https://learnt.tech/docs/quick-start.md) lists the exact steps a person takes.
- When Learnt refuses a request (a 4xx reply), the reply includes a stable `code`, a `fix` line and a `docs` link to the [errors page](https://learnt.tech/docs/errors.md).
- A one-page summary of Learnt is at [learnt.tech/llms.txt](https://learnt.tech/llms.txt).
