Learnt ("we," "us") is a training delivery platform operated by Michael Orlando. This policy covers the Learnt platform (app.learnt.tech, *.learnt.tech workspaces, and custom domains served by Learnt) and our marketing site (learnt.tech). Questions any time: hello@learnt.tech.
Clients subscribe to Learnt, build courses, and enroll learners. Learners take training their organization or training provider enrolled them in — they never buy anything from Learnt.
Learner data is owned by the Client who enrolled the learner. We process it on that Client's behalf to deliver their training, and for no other purpose. If you're a learner with questions about your data, your training provider — the name on your sign-in page — is the right first contact; we'll support whatever they ask us to do with your records.
Running the platform: signing people in, delivering courses, tracking progress, issuing certificates, sending the emails the product needs (invitations, sign-in links, billing notices), and answering support. That's the whole list. We don't sell data, rent lists, or run advertising.
A small set of providers processes data on our behalf. Each one receives only what its job requires:

Training pages use essential cookies only — the ones that keep you signed in. Marketing pages on learnt.tech additionally use Google Analytics to understand what content is useful. No advertising cookies anywhere.
We keep your data as long as your account is active. Clients can export learner progress as CSV from the dashboard at any time. If you cancel, your content and records stay available for reactivation for a reasonable period; email hello@learnt.tech to have your account and its data deleted, and we'll confirm when it's done. A Client can ask us to delete an individual learner's records the same way.
Data is encrypted in transit, access is scoped so each Client's workspace can only see its own data, and payment details live with Stripe, not us. No internet service can promise perfect security — but the platform's tenant isolation is the part of the codebase we treat as most sacred.
Learnt is a business tool and Clients control who they enroll. Some training programs (like youth sports organizations) enroll adult coaches and staff — Learnt is not directed at children, and Clients are responsible for ensuring their rosters comply with laws that apply to their learners.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll notify active Clients by email. The effective date at the top always tells you when it last changed.
