Branding and domains

Learners see your brand, and Learnt's name isn't on any page they see. Set it under Branding in the Course Editor.

The look of learner pages

Four optional settings change how every learner page looks. Leave them alone and pages keep the standard look.

The preview in the Branding section shows a learner page as you change these.

Press Save. Changes apply to every page and to emails sent from then on.

Your web address

Every workspace gets an address at yourname.learnt.tech. Learners sign in at yourname.learnt.tech/login; the banner at the top of the Course Editor shows it with a Copy link button.

You can change the address under Branding (Web address). Invitation links and certificate QR codes already sent use the old address and stop working, so change it before you invite learners.

Rules: 3–63 lowercase letters, numbers or hyphens, no hyphen at either end, and not a reserved word such as app or www. See slug_invalid and slug_taken.

Your own domain

You can put your training on your own address, e.g. training.yourcompany.com. It's included from the first day of the trial.

  1. Under Custom domain in the Course Editor, enter the domain and press Save.
  2. Learnt shows the exact DNS record to add at your domain registrar.
  3. Press Check now after adding it. When the domain is live, it replaces yourname.learnt.tech in invitations, sign-in links and certificate QR codes.

Step-by-step instructions for common registrars: connecting your own domain.

learnt.tech addresses can't be used as a custom domain (domain_platform_host), and a domain can belong to only one workspace (domain_in_use).
